that was very, very depressing. i’m trying to think of other highlights from the decade, but i really can’t. and everything on twitter and facebook is about how much the decade/year completely sucked. at first, i thought no, that’s not true…but i’m not so sure anymore.

i definitely agree with the fax machine. i’ve never understood why companies/people will ask you to fax in information that could easily be sent via email (like a resume or a cover letter) since they obviously have an internet connection…and so does the reader.

euphemisms can also be fun! did you know that the phrase “oh lordy, i do declare i have the vapors” actually means you need to fart? that’s fun with euphemisms! but, i agree you shouldn’t swear or use replacement words when it’s innappropriate to swear. saying “dang” instead of “damn” doesn’t make a hell of a big difference...

i can do so much with such a small piece of technology, it’s really amazing. i’ve had to send my laptop to apple two times before this, but this is by far the most bearable because i have a pocket computer. it reminds me of the hitchhiker’s guide to the galaxy with it’s tininess and usefulness, i’m tempted to scrawl DON’T PANIC on its casing.
